Five-S started with a densely wooded jobsite that we cleared, mulched, and hauled off all vegetation on around 25 acres. They stripped the site of unsuitable material and dug a retention pond that was used to balance the site. Five-S hauled in and placed 25,000 cy’s of select material for the transmission warehouse building and cut 800 tons of lime underneath the paving and roads. We completed our portion of the work on time and without any safety incidents.

The contract value was $1.8 million for Phase 1. Five-S performed well enough to be awarded the early works portion of Phase 2 ($1.2 mil) and are still continuing to price work there now.
