Five-S has an exemplary safety record. Since our inception, Five-S has NEVER had an OSHA recordable injury.
Five-S is proud to have received multiple safety recognitions throughout the years. We continue to strive for safety excellence by always seeking new safety software and metrics, utilizing our memberships with ABC, AGC, and many other organizations we belong to. We incentivize safety in the field and in our offices with Hazard Hunts, Monthly Safety Spotlight Awards, and Safety Moments in our meetings and presentations.

Five-S has an uncompromising commitment to the health and safety of our employees, clients, and the community. We continuously strive to improve our processes, demonstrate leadership, and promote comprehensive safety. We require individual accountability, expecting all employees to adhere to our safety standards, and actively participate and support the advancement of our health and safety practices. Safety is the responsibility of all employees, from upper management to field personnel. At Five-S, our goal is for all employees to demonstrate a safety-first mindset.
At Five-S, job-specific safety plans are put into place well before a project begins. Prior to starting work on a project, our SSHE Manager, Project Manager and Superintendents work together to account for the conditions and hazards present at each site. Once the project begins, the SSHE Manager makes frequent jobsite visits to monitor and consult with on-site supervision to further assess the conditions and hazards of the jobsite.
Five-S Group’s paramount goal is every employee home, safely, every day. Our full-time SSHE Manager oversees all training, hazard recognition programs, Job Loss Analysis (JLA) implementation, and on-site orientations. All Five-S employees are aware of current and evolving safety requirements and trainings. All Five-S site management personnel are certified in First Aid and CPR. We keep safety at the core of our work and at the forefront of every jobsite.
