History
Five-S literally grew out of the earth from the Acadiana region of south Louisiana where its founding owner Andre Smith farmed rice and crawfish alongside his three brothers, under the leadership of their father. The five Smiths are the textbook definition of a family instilled with values including good morals, hard work, and loyalty. From a farming father and his four sons, fast forward a few decades in time it is evident how a rural childhood evolved into a new construction business, known today as Five-S Group.
Today the company resides and operates in several locations: Baton Rouge and Lake Charles, Louisiana; and Port Arthur & Houston, Texas. As a result of our fleet size and diversity, Five-S can readily and efficiently mobilize to meet the needs of their clients and their projects.
