Construction Laborer

Job Summary
A Construction Laborer is responsible for performing intensive physical construction labor duties for construction projects.
Job Responsibilities but not limited
· Assist in preparing job sites for construction.
· Perform labor duties including sub surface drainage installation, cleaning equipment, minor equipment repairs, installation of fabric/geogrid, installation of soil treatment, installation of base course, tree clearing.
· Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
· Participates in daily safety tailgate meetings.
· Completes work according to all environmental requirements as applicable.
· Always abide by all company safety and quality policies.
· Operating light machinery including skid steers and loaders.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements
· A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
· Experience working in industrial construction industry is preferred.
· Experience operating light machinery including skid steers, loaders, and off-road trucks is preferred.
· Working knowledge of general hand and power tools is preferred.
· The ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with other individuals, teams, and customers in a business-like and professional manner is required.
· Ability to juggle competing priorities, multi-task, and change direction with a variety of workplace tasks.
· Ability to demonstrate conscientiousness, dependability, and commitment to the role, team, and company.
· Ability to take action to achieve goals beyond what is required.
· Ability to successfully complete a drug test.
