I-10 South Frontage Road Phase II - LADOTD

The client was the owner, Calcasieu Parish Police Jury (CPPJ). Five-S was the successful bidder as the prime contractor for the project. The frontage road expansion is part of a master plan to complete the connection of Interstate 10 from Lake Charles to the Louisiana/ Texas state line. The project’s scope of work including significant volumes of excavation and embankment, import select fill and install for road sub-grade, furnish and install 2.2 miles of precast storm drainage, furnishing and installing aggregate surface course, install and maintain permanent Erosion Control. The project was completed on time and within budget.
